How did South Park make the Election 08 episode so quickly?

Tonight's South Park (Nov 5th, One Day After The Election) featured an animated version of yesterday's acceptance speech by Obama and many other current issues. How did they manage to make an episode in less than 24 hours.

I think they probably made two cuts of it. Im watching it now.

They did one for Obama and one for McCain.

they usually make there episodes in a couple days anywaysits not like most cartoons that plan months ahead

I would bet they had 2 versions ready to go, and knew where they would throw in their voice overs and just waited for the material.

It is a cartoon and they don't use real actors..so they can dubb in anything..last minute..they made two versions ..each with a different President..One for McCain and One for Obama..just like the movies have different endings

I am assuming they cut two versions of the episode, or they were just very hopeful.

It normally takes 6 days, so they just condensed it down, and they probably made most of it well before election day. If you notice, a lot of it is not dependent on the winner.
