It doesn't matter to Homer what kind of relationship he has with people, he doesn't notice anyways.

they have a back and forth relationship..they hate him..he loves that they hate him....we win

Homer hates his wife's sisters. he despises them. like when they come over after a vacation for a slide show he's like 'o god i can't believe i have to sit through this" in one episode he called them the "gruesome 2Sim"

he's having an affair with them both.. on the side,, that's why they have a love hate relationship.. to disguise their real relationship...lol

Seems rather platonic with Marge and completely antagonistic with Patty and Selma.
