Wasn't it when the team went to a small town to investigate a murder? I'm probably wrong.

Heartland - season 6 episode 4the case was - two marines were attacked outside a nightclub, among the personal effects of one of them was a class ring from Stillwater High. Stillwater being the town where gibbs was from.
