LostLost follows the plane crash survivors lives on a strange mystical island, after a commercial passenger plane traveling between Sydney, Australia and Los Angeles, United States crashes in the ocean of the South Pacific. Every episode usually features a main storyline on the island, followed by a secondary storyline from another time in a character's life.

Who exactly are the Oceanic 6? Are they the"only"6 people to make it off the island? The brief summary from iTunes for season 4 has this sentence in it:"Picking up from the shocking finale, we learn from"flash forwards"who from Oceanic Airlines flight 815 gets off the island"So are the Oceanic 6, the 6 people from the island who get rescued? Possibly? Because then we already know that 3 of the Oceanic 6 are Hugo (Hurley), Jack, and Kate.
Yes, but do realize more could of gotten off who were NOT of the 6, just because it says 6- this means ONLY 6 from that flight were rescued, but I do think ben came back, and that he is the one who died and was in the coffin.And the secret Jack and Hugo are keeping is that there are more on the island who are alive ( that is why charlie came back to tell hugo they needed to go back and said"They need you!") and why the black man in the mental hospital asked Hugo"Are they alive?"--speaking of those who were still on the island...Hehe methinks I am getting somewhere!
Yes, it's the six people from the island who escaped. I don't want so say rescued because I don't know if the people that come for them next week are really there to'rescue'them. But i did read somewhere that the Oceanic 6 consists of Jack, Kate, Hurley (Hugo), Sayid, Sun, and Jin. That may or may not be true, just what i heard. Pretty crazy!
yes its assumed that only 6 who were on the flight actually get rescued. its thrilling to guess who the other 3 may be. my guess is locke, sawyer, and claire. but who knows. plus it doesnt mean that some of"the others"have been rescued as well. remember, they werent on the flight. plus in hugos hallucination of charlie it kind of sneaks u to believe there are more trapped on the island still/ so i think jacks"secret"would have to be that there are more on the island
oceanic 6: jack, kate, hurley, sawyer, locke, claire. we know of the first three for sure. at the end of season 3 kate tells jack that she needs to"get going because he's probably wondering where i am."i think that he is sawyer. i'm going to say that the guy in the coffin was locke. jack said he was neither friend nor family and kate was pretty pissed off when jack asked her about going to the wake. locke had no one before leaving for sydney and the losties wouldn't go see him at the funeral because they are clearly pissed with him. since jack thinks that they need to go back to the island, he probably went to go see locke since it was locke all along who said they shouldn't leave. plus there is that whole man of science/man of faith connection. as for claire: if locke and sawyer are two more of the 6 its clear that locke's camp managed to survive best. kate could possibly join them later since sawyer is with them. the last main character in locke's camp is claire... possible oceanic 6.the actor who plays ben shared in an interview that he is pretty sure that it isn't ben because the guy in the coffin needs to be someone that the audience and characters have a deep connection with and that as of right now, ben isn't at that level of connection
