The DHARMA Initiative?

Lost Lost follows the plane crash survivors lives on a strange mystical island, after a commercial passenger plane traveling between Sydney, Australia and Los Angeles, United States crashes in the ocean of the South Pacific. Every episode usually features a main storyline on the island, followed by a secondary storyline from another time in a character's life.

Is the DHARMA Initiative a real orginization? I know it's parent orginization, the Hanso Foundation, exists, but is DHARMA Initiative real? If so, are they still operating? Where?No no no, not about the TV show! I watch it, but that's all faked. The hanso foundation is real, I just cant find any info about DHARMA!

Oh, you watch"Lost"? AFAIK, they're still operating. Penny's dad is probably involved at the highest levels. Shhhh....don't tell anyone!
