He is one of the others and does not tell anyone all the secrets and uses them to his advantage. He killed Goodwin.So I would say BAD!

Well that depends, now he claims to have revealed all the secrets in the Island, and also claims that wants to help the survivors to fight the people in the freighter, but Ben is famous for his lying skills, remember he promised Jack to get him out of the Island but manipulated Locke so he would destroy the submarine. So the answer for your question it's that Ben it's kinda psycho remember the whole"You are mine"thing or the way he gassed all the people in the Barracks, or the way he manipulates people, so Ben true intentions are yet to be revealed.

It depends on how you define good or bad. Even if I supposed the end result he's aiming for is good, he's used a lot of evil means to try to get there. I think both the means you use and the end result you aim for should count on an evaluation of your moral standing, so I definitely couldn't count Ben as a good person, given his past history of lying, manipulating, and killing people. However, I think we'll probably become more sympathetic to his cause in future episodes... or, maybe he's just fooled us into thinking he has a greater cause. :-)I think that's why the show was called Lost, because we are supposed to feel perpetually lost... ;-)
