Do you think Lost and Cloverfield are connected?

The symbol for the Dharma Initiative from Lost is at the beginning of Cloverfield and when JJ Abrams was asked if the show and movie are related he said,"Maybe."He also said that the symbol was supposed to be there on the movie.What do you think?If you go on Lostpedia, there's something about Cloverfield there....

I am a Lost fanatic but this is the first time I am hearing about a connection between Lost and Cloverfield. I don't think they are .

JJ abrahams always puts Lost links into his other movies and TV shows. On Alias, you are able to hear the oceanic 815 flight being announced in the background of LAX airport, in MI:3 there is a thankyou to the Hanso foundation on the credits and I am not surprised if there is a dharma symbol in the film Cloverfield. I don't think it has any direct links though, maybe that they are all simply supposed to occupy the same universe, and that Abrahams just loves to hint at things that aren't really there.

wow. great insight. i am baffaled. just when u thought u knew all u needed to know about LOST something like this comes into play. hmmmm i had my suspcions about the connections but i dont know
