Spencer pratt- do the cameras make him out to be something he isnt?

yall know spencer pratt from the reality show the hills. this show i must add is amazing and is well worth watching- even though it is obviously scripted! anyways, ive always wondered about spencer pratt. on the show, he strikes me to be a real jerk and jackass. SO, WHY WOULD HEIDI STILL WANT TO BE WITH HIM AFTER ALL OF THE JERKY THINGS HES DONE? i was wondering one night, maybe the cameras make spencer to be someone he isnt and maybe they edit him to be a jerk when in real life he is not a bad person...im not saying this is true cause trust me im TEAM LAUREN but ive always wondered about that........ i mean come on, no one can be such a concedied jerk. IT MUST BE A SCAM! what do yall think about him?
