Why did Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag stop being friends?

The Hills The Hills is a MTV TV series spin off of the popular MTV reality show Laguna Beach. It documents the life of Lauren Conrad and friends after Lauren moved from Laguna Beach to Los Angeles, California.

u preety much guessed it plus thier was a nasty rumor going around that lauren and jason made a sex tape that lc blames heidi and spencer for!!
