Why is Spencer Pratt from MTV's"Hills"so rich&famous? Are his parents famous?

Im confused as to why the douche bag is so special. I know his friend Brody has a famous dad but what is this guys story? He makes me gag.

Me too! He is olny famous because he hooked up with Heidi, Im not sure why he rich.

I think his dad is a dentist, Spencer should use this to his advantage and get his own grill fixe up. He's FUGLY. I don't know what Heidi sees in him. Whatever though, they say couples who've been together a long time, start to look alike, and they are beginning to look alike.
