How does Spencer Pratt make his money?

Ok..so we all understand that Heidi has a good job on the Hills and that's how she makes her money on the show, but how the hell does Spencer go out to all these nice dinners, laptop, nice apartment, badass BMW??? He doesn't do anything, but sit around on his butt. And I'm not wanting to hear...he makes his money by acting...no, I'm talking about the show.

Spencer Pratt has rich parents who support him and he is sometimes paid to appear in The Hills episodes.

He is somekind of producer of something...i think music and tv shows...who knows i think he is a douchebag

i have no idea why this guy is even getting the attention that he's getting. i saw him on david letterman before, and he said he gets paid $100,000 to go out to clubs, and if the club owners don't pay him to attend, he won't go. is this a joke? please get this no-talent nobody out of the limelight please.

Both Heidi and Spencer get paid $65,000 per episode EACH. Also all those staged photos that appear on the magazines, they get a cut of the money that papparazzi make when they sell the photos.
