Which is funnier South Park our Family Guy? Why?

I prefer SouthPark. Family guy's randomness has become too predictable and less funny. South Park follows whats going on today and makes fun of it with a funny plot.What do you think?

south park but i think they have been overdoing political issues lately.. family guy is an offshoot of the Simpson's.

They both suck.

Definitely South Park.
I love Family Guy - it rocks.
But South Park is more clever, and is a higher caliber of satire than Family Guy.
Don't get me wrong, both shows wallow in the low-brow, but South Park just gets in better, and more salient, licks.
I said licks. Heh. Anyway...
I liked your pointed comment about Family Guy's predictable randomness. Man, when your randomness gets predictable, its time to kick it up or step down. I really hope its the former, as Family Guy has great potential.
But south Park has the crown, now, and for the foreseeable future.

South Park because they are not afraid to tell it just how it is.

Depends on what mood I'm in. South Park tackles specific issues or spoofs. Whether it's a kindergarten class election that is similar to the 2000 Bush/Gore election or the kid's version of Lord of the Rings with "the One Tape" which happens to be the dirtiest porn ever.

Family Guy is funny by situation: brilliant Dog, Stewie, Special Dad, working Lois, etc. They don't so much tackle specific issues as just life and society in general.

So do I want thinking funny or just plain life funny. They both have their places.

(BTW-Family Guy is not a spin off of Simpson's. Futurama was a Simpson's Spin off. Though Family Guy does have similar elements, a family with a Dumb dad and a mom who keeps things together. Simpson's is also an issue based show. Plus there's no Brian or Stewie equivalent.)

They are both awesome and a debate on which is better could go on forever.
