Why the change in "Family Guy's" Stewie Griffin?

Stewie used to be evil and maniacal, but in the more recent episodes of Family Guy, he's far more sensitive and apparently a homosexual. I liked him in his more evil state. What happened?

Maybe because of some of the episodes where it shows why he changes. I like the way he is now though.Lil

Evil Stowe rocks, but I think his change is because the creator is in the closet and is using Stowe to express his feelings.

Stowe is not homo he's ambiguous, meaning he's not sure, and its not about the Crater using him as a way to announce his gayness, Seth McFarland just thought it would be funny
