Who is the STRONGEST Dragonball Z character including GT?

Dragonball Z Dragon Ball Z is about Son Goku, from his early childhood through adolescense as he lerans martial arts and travels the world seeking the 7 secret mystical objects known only as the Dragon Balls, which are capable of granting any wish. Through his trip, Goku meets many friends and fights against several evil villains who are trying to get the Dragon Balls to grant their own wishes and many who attempt to conquer the world.

Me and a freind are arguing who the strongest character in dragonball z is. he says it is Goku and i disagree. can someone please help us conlcude our dispute?

To be absolutely honest, I want to say Vegeta but I know Goku is.
