How appropriate is the show"Desperate Housewives"for a 12 year old?

Desperate Housewives Desperate Housewives takes place on the street of Wisteria Lane in the ficticious American city of Fairview, Eagle State. It takes a lot at the lives of a set of women and their families, told through the voice of their deceased friend, as they live through domestic challenges and life. They face the scandals, problems, and secrets locked behind the doors of what appears to be their perfect suburban neighborhood.

I don't think it's appropriate. there are tv ratings you know, you should check these things out!
