Any CSI NY fans out there?

So..I kept up with the Miami series and the original series but anyways I just started catching reruns of CSI NY on spike..my question is about an episode. The chick names Stella..she is at a crime scene and cuts her arm on a piece of mirror or glass that is covered in the vic's blood..well later in the episode she finds out that he had hep c..anyways..so she goes to the doctor to get tested..what are the results?..does she have it or not?

She was getting tested for hiv not hep.c. b/c the vic was taking meds for hiv. She came back negative but, had to wait another 7 wks to see if she was completely in the clear. They gave her meds after her first blood test. But, she was Negative of Hiv.
