The american comedy series, 30 Rock, takes place behind the doors of a fictional sketch live comedy series depicted as airing on television. The name "30 Rock" refers to the GE Building where NBC Studios is actually located and which does have the address "30 Rockefeller Plaza.".

The Office depicts the common lives of office staff and employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictitious Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The primary flow of the show is with a camera crew that decided to film the inner workings at Dunder Mifflin, around the clock.

Two and a Half Men is about a proud bachelor, Charlie, whose care free living style is interrupted when his brother who has just ended a relationship, and his son moves in. The two brothers are exact opposites.

The Big Bang Theory is about two young prodigies, one who is a theoretical physicist while the other is experimental physicist, who work together at Caltech. They both live across from an attractive blonde waitress with show business aspirations. Their nerdiness and education are contrasted wither her sociability and common sense.

Entourage is about the rise of Vincent Chase, a man from Queens New York City who turned into a young A-list movie star actor. Vinny and his close lifelong friends navigate the unfamiliar city of Hollywood, California. The show's premise is loosely based on Mark Wahlberg's life as an actor.
