A question about actors in Frasier and the Big bang theory????please help??

The Big Bang Theory The Big Bang Theory is about two young prodigies, one who is a theoretical physicist while the other is experimental physicist, who work together at Caltech. They both live across from an attractive blonde waitress with show business aspirations. Their nerdiness and education are contrasted wither her sociability and common sense.

Is the guy that plays Shelden in the Big Bang theory related to the guy who plays Miles in Frasier????They act alot alike and I thought they might be related, please help anyone. Thanks
