The show is horrible now. The last good episodes (IMHO) were the first 3 or so of the"Fire"season...everything after is crap. It's more like a kids show, no depth, bad dialogue, story lines are boring. I used to appreciate it so much because the themes were so deep, the character's personalities were complicated, the framing/cinematography (if that word applies to animation...forgive me film nuts) was beautiful and the Chinese infusion was fascinating. Now it's some goofy anime wannabe.Am I wrong? Someone make me happy and say that it's gotten better after the middle of the Fire season. I am pretty sure that season ended somewhat recently too.....

The last few episodes leading up to the battle with the firelord were amazing. The look of anguish and the inner turmoil building within Aang is moving. His deep struggle as to whether he should kill to save everyone is haunting. Now if your looking for fluid animation and amazing effects I suggest you watch the final battle and the one between Zuko and Azula (talking about character development, you should see her digression throughout the story). So don't lose hope and finish it through.

After episode 11 of the third (and final) season the show went on hiatus. (The writer's strike stopped work) The show picked up in July with the final episodes shown in 1 week. 1 episode per night and 2 episodes on one night and the final four episodes as a movie on the Saturday of that week. The writers coming back and having to rush may have caused some problems but basically the last season was outlined before they started. It did get better after episode 12.

It's a kiddie show. For 7 year-olds.And by your loose use of the word'crap', I'm guessing you're not 7.They change writers and animators every other episode. If you don't like it, give it to your little brother or something.Oh, you don't have one?? Clone yourself and give it to them.

OH MY GAWD I KNOW!!!!!the water and especially the earth seasons were awesome!!!!!i was so disappointed with the fire season.yeah its over now....and the ending movie...HORRIBLE!!!SO MANY QUESTIONS LEFT UNANSWERED!you don't get to see zuko reunite with his mother, azula goes crazy but you don't know what happens to her, and poor jet is just presumed dead!!!!!UGH! and aang took the pansy way out and didn't kill the fire lord. he did this horribly gay animal summoning type thing....and then locked him up. =/it was an embarrassing and sloppy way to end the series.and i used to be such a fan...*sigh*....
