I was thinking the same thing you are. While deliberating, the judges actually considered it a strike against a woman who wasn't getting along with everybody while in recent US version Melrose (who was really disliked by her peers) made it to the top two. About it not seeming up to date, it was an older season so maybe it's caught up now. If you look at US Top Model season one, it looks a bit primitive too.
